A new range of genetic investigations

Infinity range The search for answers continues.

Genome or exome sequencing, follow-up of new discoveries and RNA testing once every six months, at no additional cost. A range that connects each step to help you and your doctor understand what comes next.

More continuity in care

A result can leave questions. The next step needs to make sense.

The Infinity range connects what DNA shows, what science discovers over time and what RNA can clarify about a variant. The aim is to turn this information into a more useful assessment for care.

Two starting points

The same continuity. The right test for the case.

The choice between genome and exome sequencing is made with your doctor, based on the clinical question and previous investigations.

How the steps connect

An investigation that can move forward with your story.

Each step answers a different question. Your doctor remains involved in interpretation and care decisions.

  1. 01

    The initial test

    Start with the right question

Symptoms, family history and previous tests guide the choice between genome and exome sequencing. The report brings together the findings and the questions that remain open.

  2. 02

    Infinity Genes

Revisit the data with new knowledge

Negative exomes and genomes are reanalysed every month. New gene–disease associations may bring clues that were not available in the first analysis.

  3. 03

    Infinity VUS

    Follow what remains uncertain

Reported variants of uncertain significance are followed as new evidence emerges. Relevant changes undergo specialist review before being communicated to the doctor.

  4. 04

    RNA / transcriptomics

    Investigate how the variant works

Once every six months, RNA testing is performed at no additional cost to investigate rare intronic VUS in genes relevant to the phenotype. The analysis seeks functional evidence to help clarify the meaning of these variants.

The new step in the Infinity range

From what is written in DNA to what happens in RNA.

DNA stores instructions. RNA helps put them to use. Studying RNA may reveal whether a variant changes how those instructions are processed or the amount of a transcript.

When this step may help

The six-monthly investigation targets rare intronic VUS in genes relevant to the phenotype. The functional question and gene expression in the available tissue guide the technical assessment.

What the analysis may add

Evidence about RNA processing, known as splicing, and gene expression may support interpretation. The result is integrated with genetic and clinical data; it does not determine classification on its own.

Investigating a VUS does not guarantee its resolution. Some variants remain uncertain even after functional testing.

Before the next step

Questions that deserve a clear answer.

What changes compared with the current NeoGenoma and NeoExoma tests?

Infinity Genes and Infinity VUS already accompany the current tests. The Infinity range adds RNA investigation once every six months, at no additional cost, for rare intronic VUS in genes relevant to the phenotype.

Will RNA resolve every VUS?

No. A VUS is a variant for which conclusive evidence is still lacking. RNA may help in selected situations, but may produce an inconclusive result or may not suit the question. The final classification brings together the available evidence and clinical context.

How does six-monthly RNA testing work?

RNA testing is performed once every six months, at no additional cost, with NeoGenoma Infinity and NeoExoma Infinity. It focuses on rare intronic VUS in genes relevant to the phenotype. The team assesses sample suitability and gene expression so the study can address the clinical question.

Will I need another sample?

Reanalysis of DNA data does not require a new sample. RNA investigation may require a specific sample. The team must advise on the material and transport conditions; a sample used for DNA is not automatically suitable for RNA.

I have already had a test. Do I need to start over?

Talk to the team before repeating a test. The report, available data and clinical history help assess what can be reused and whether an additional step makes sense. Joining the new range depends on this assessment.

Is NeoGenoma Infinity the same as NeoGenoma Omni?

They are different offerings. NeoGenoma Omni combines short and long DNA reads. The Infinity range combines the underlying test, follow-up and RNA investigation of VUS when indicated. Long-read sequencing is not automatically included in the Infinity range.

How can I find out about pricing, timelines and conditions?

Six-monthly RNA testing is included in the Infinity range at no additional cost. The price of the underlying test, result turnaround times and sample collection guidance are confirmed with the team. The six-monthly RNA schedule is not a report turnaround time.
